Cyclaire bicycle pumps are designed to be easy for anyone to use. You use them in a standing position: no need to stoop or bend over to pump up your tyres.

The long stroke achieved with the pull cord and the design of the Cyclaire mechanisms means its much easier to achieve higher tyre pressures with a Cyclaire than with most other types of pump: the pump takes the strain rather than you.

	1	Remove the hose from it's storage channel and connect the nozzle to the valve of your bicycle tyre.  Plac the pump on the ground beside your tyre.  The connector is adjustable to work with all common valve types.
	2	Twist the locking lever through 90 degrees to lock the nozzle onto the valve.  This holds the nozzle in the optimum position for maximum pumping efficiency, helping you get to the pressure you want quickly and easily.
	3	Hold the Cyclaire in place with your foot, glab the handle on the pull cord and stand up straight.  Now you are ready to start pumping up your tyre in comfort.
	4	Simply pull the cord and let the Cyclaire pump pull it back at the end of the stroke. Keep an eye on the pressure gauge and, when the desired pressure is reached, let the pull-cord retract fully into the pump.  Undo the lock on the valve connector and remove the connector from the valve.  Slip the hose back into the groove and pack the Cyclaire into its carry case.  Job done!
