The Cyclaire Pump is very easy to use but, as its a new product, there are always loads of questions when people a Cyclaire Pump for the first time. This list covers the most common questions that we get asked. Does a Cyclaire Pump fit Presta and Schrader valves?	Yes. Cyclaire Pumps have an adjustable nozzle which fits Presta (narrow), Schrader (wide) and Dunlop valves. It makes a great bike pump, wheelchair pump, pushchair pump, moped pump - you get the picture.
Can I use a Cyclaire Pump for inflating sports balls?	Yes – the Cyclaire Rapid is best for sports balls, but be careful not to overinflate your ball as it needs much less pressure than a tyre. You will need to purchase the Needle Adaptor on the "Buy One" pages
Can I use a Cyclaire Pump for inflating tubeless UST tyres?	Yes, Cyclaire Pumps work well with UST tyres
Can I use a Cyclaire Pump for inflating wheelchair, pushchair or pram tyres?	Yes, Cyclaire Pumps work well on these types of tyre. Its easy to hold the Cyclaire Pump in place with a wheel whilst you pull the cord.
Can I use a Cyclaire Pump for inflating the tyres on a "Segway" Human Transporter?	Yes, a couple of the Segway owners that bought Cycalire's tell us that the Cyclaire and the Segway go together brilliantly.
Can I use a Cyclaire Pump for inflating the tyres of my motor-scooter or moped?	Yes, Cyclaire pumps work well on scooters and mopeds and are small enough to fit in the tool store of many models.
Can I use a Cyclaire Pump for inflating car and motorbike tyres?	No, Cyclaire pumps don't have the capacity to handle car tyres.
Can I use a Cyclaire Pump for inflating airbeds, beach inflatables and other novelty inflatables?	No, but the Cyclaire Inflator is ideal for such uses
What are the size and weight of a Cyclaire Pump?	A Cyclaire pump is 158mm long x 64mm wide x 53mm high and weighs in at just just 302 grams.
Do I have to inflate my tyres all the way to the maximum on the gauge?	Probably not. The recommended pressure for your tyres will be written on the sidewall of the tyres. Do not over inflate your tyres, it can be dangerous. The gauges on the pumps have a colour coded indicator as a rough guide: BLUE Sports balls up to 15psi GREEN Children’s bikes up to 40 psi YELLOW Mountain bikes (fat tyres) 40 – 80 psi RED Road bikes (narrow tyres) 80 – 120 psi
Why is there an extra pocket in the Carry Case? Is there something missing?	The carry case has an extra pocket that you can use to carry tyre levers, an inner tube, a multitool or some other essential items.
What warranty do you offer with Cyclaire pumps?	All Cyclaire pumps have been designed and manufactured to the highest standards of quality and durability. We also offer a 12 month guarantee against any defects in materials or workmanship. This guarantee is valid only if your pump is used in accordance with the operating instructions.
